Emily Reid is a native Texan born with a true gypsy spirit. Her love of music, travel, art, cuisine, language and flowers is nurtured in Austin, Texas, a city with creativity running through its streets. Her nomadic ways have taken her through sunflower fields in Northern Spain, lavender farms in France and endless rows of tulips in Holland, ingraining in her a deep appreciation for nature. While pursuing her MA in art history at Leiden University, Emily developed an affinity for Dutch still life painting which continues to influence her work as a florist. She’s designed weddings around the world including France, Morocco, Iceland and Latvia, she brings a colorful, storied background to gypsy floral, and encourages clients to bring out their culture and passions to make unique events.

LEANNA RINALDI

Leanna’s robust background in the arts, particularly ballet translates to her style of floral design - beautiful blooming butterfly ranunculus flying high above an arrangement, and whimsical lines she creates in her design work. As a former professional ballerina, she finds connection between dance and floral design. Her ultimate goal is to create joy and make already special moments even more memorable. When she’s not designing, Leanna can be found at a live music concert any night of the week, hiking or running the greenbelt, riding her skateboard around town, and spending quality time with friends.

Emmalee (Emmy) grew up on her family farm in central Virginia. Watching her mom arrange wildflowers into magic, she fell in love with the beauty and softness nature can create. She spent her years after college traveling and falling more in love with design and culture. After studying design in Italy, she returned to the states where she began to explore various areas of the arts including fashion, set design, photography, and jewelry design. Finally returning to her roots, she took up floral design and hasn’t looked back. Having found her fellow gypsies, Emmy’s passion comes alive creating wild, whimsical arrangements. Outside of the studio, she spends her time exploring South Austin in search of the best salsa, taking her four-legged daughter on a local hike, and designing jewelry.

Originally from Galveston, India has loved calling Austin home for almost 10 years. She graduated with her BFA in graphic design and worked in the non-profit cultural arts and humanities sector for many years before gravitating back to her first love of floral design. She believes in creating fine art with flowers, combining colors, textures, and movement in unexpected and artful ways. When she’s not working with flowers or meticulously organizing the studio, India can be found spending time with her husband, two kiddos, and her furry pack of five animals!
